Mission Services Inc. to invest $820,000 to expand IT support operation

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Mission Services Inc. (MSI), a leading provider of unique and innovative information technology (IT) support services for federal agencies, will invest $820,000 to expand its operation in Fairfax County. Virginia successfully competed against Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Ohio, and Texas for the project, which will create 400 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that MicroHealth, LLC, a provider of health information technology for federal and commercial health organizations, will invest $395,000 to expand its IT operation in Fairfax County, creating 65 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), an Amazon.com company (NASDAQ: AMZN), will expand its presence with a new East Coast corporate campus at One Dulles Tower in Fairfax County. AWS offers cloud computing services to businesses, government, and educational organizations, including web hosting, application hosting, storage and backup, content delivery, and scalable database solutions. Virginia successfully competed against Texas and Washington for the project, which will create up to 1,500 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced that two Virginia companies have been named recipients of Trade & Industry Development’s 12th annual CiCi (Corporate Investment & Community Impact) Awards. The leading magazine dedicated to corporate site selectors in vertical industry segments recognized ADP (City of Norfolk) and Microsoft Corporation (Mecklenburg County) in the Community Impact category.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Concept Plus, LLC, an IT service provider specializing in end-to-end design, development, and operational support of database, middleware, and business applications, will invest $140,000 to expand its IT operation to create a shared lab for application developers in Fairfax County. Virginia successfully competed against Colorado, Maryland, Wisconsin, and Washington, D.C. for the project, which will create 31 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Windward Consulting, an information technology consultancy helping large organizations manage their data centers and networks, will invest $825,000 to expand its headquarters in Fairfax County. The project will also create 97 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Munters Corporation, a manufacturer of energy recovery systems, dehumidification systems and custom air handling equipment, will invest $2.5 million to expand and upgrade equipment at its manufacturing operation in Buena Vista. Virginia successfully competed against several other states for the project, which will create 100 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC), a leading provider of IT solutions to the federal government, will invest $1.65 million to expand in Virginia and establish its principal headquarters in Fairfax County. The company will fulfill additional contracts with federal agencies, creating up to 1,200 new jobs over five years.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that All Traffic Solutions (ATS), the leader in cloud-based traffic management solutions for law enforcement, transportation and smart cities, has invested more than $100,000 to establish its corporate headquarters operation in Fairfax County. The more than 4,300-square-foot new facility is located at Worldgate Centre in the Town of Herndon. The company plans to add 25 employees in 2017 and create up to 86 new jobs total over the next three years.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Microsoft Corporation will invest $251.6 million to expand its data center site in Mecklenburg County and increase capacity to serve its growing customer base. Virginia successfully competed against other sites in the U.S. for the project, which will create 44 new jobs.
