Maryland brewing company to invest $3 million to locate a brewery, taproom, and restaurant in Fauquier County, creating 38 new jobs.

The Advanced Manufacturing Talent Investment Program and Fund, established pursuant to section 23.1-1244 of the Code of Virginia, was created to increase the number of trained individuals entering advanced manufacturing careers and to improve the readiness of graduates to be employed in identified advanced manufacturing fields. Funds will be allocated to existing programs that serve the Hampton Roads and Southwest Virginia regions (GO Virginia Regions 1 and 5) and other named institutions.

HEYCO Werk USA Inc., a manufacturer of automotive parts, will invest $5.4 million to expand its operation in Greensville County.

Virginia-headquartered BAUER COMPRESSORS, INC., the world’s foremost innovative designer and manufacturer of high-pressure systems, will invest $7.4 million to expand in the City of Norfolk.

Dev Technology Group, an information technology services company delivering mission-critical applications and systems to the federal government, will invest $366,000 to expand in Fairfax County, creating 90 new jobs.

Layman Distributing, a small, woman-owned, full-service wholesale distributor, will invest $6.8 million to expand in the City of Salem.
