The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is the state economic development authority for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Created in 1995, VEDP collaborates with local, regional, and state partners to encourage the expansion and diversification of Virginia’s economy. VEDP works to accomplish these objectives through a variety of activities, including marketing and lead generation; business retention, expansion, and attraction; trade development; business intelligence; competitive benchmarking; site development; performance-based incentives; and talent solutions.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking a Salesforce Analyst to join the Salesforce Team in the Research Division. This position will require an energetic, self-starting individual who is seeking to gain Salesforce experience in the economic development industry. This position will work collaboratively with the Salesforce team and users to troubleshoot issues, provide training, and deliver new functionality. The selected person will gain valuable experience working alongside a dedicated team and will play a supporting role in fulfilling the team’s primary responsibility.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking a Senior Communications Manager to implement and oversee an earned media campaign promoting Virginia’s target sectors, economic development and workforce solutions initiatives, and industry leader testimonials. This position will also be responsible for developing and updating project and industry-specific case studies for and value proposition initiatives; cataloging media inquiries and responses by subject; and assisting with other communications tasks as needed, such as drafting media responses, press releases, event briefings, and talking points.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking a Vice President of its Information Technology (IT) Division. This position is responsible for directing the functions of the IT Division that supports both VEDP and the Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) and provides leadership for a broad array of complex technology activities.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an Associate Brand Manager to assist with report design and industry materials. The Associate Brand Manager must have two years of graphics experience, including mastery of the Adobe Creative programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite, and PowerPoint in particular. The applicant must be able to prioritize work and effectively manage multiple projects; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-discipline team environment; work well under pressure in meeting deadlines; exhibit sound judgment in making decisions; and maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an experienced international business development professional to assist Virginia-based companies in generating international sales.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a broad range of companies from the Central Region of Virginia as they grow their export sales. By recruiting and managing a portfolio of companies to participate in VEDP International Trade’s programs and services, this position will consult with companies to provide advice and guidance on entering new international markets. This position will facilitate access to international trade development resources provided by VEDP, such as customized market research, international matchmaking, export compliance, and grants to help Virginia companies grow their international sales.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an Associate Events Manager to manage all aspects of events for the organization. This position will be responsible for coordinating logistical components of VEDP’s events, including trade shows, marketing missions, site selection consultant events, conferences, and familiarization tours.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an experienced economic development professional to successfully promote Virginia to targeted corporate executives and consultants as the preferred location for new and expanding business facilities. 

VEDP is seeking to hire an Executive Vice President (EVP) who will play a central role in achieving VEDP’s transformational economic development goals by strategically leading enhancements in the design and implementation of VEDP’s business investment, research, incentives, and marketing functions.

The Vice President of Incentives (VP) will lead VEDP’s Division of Incentives, established in the Code of Virginia, with responsibility for reviewing, vetting, tracking, and coordinating economic development incentives administered by VEDP and aligning those incentives with economic development incentives offered by other entities in the Commonwealth.

I am responsible for supporting government affairs and partner relations by interacting with all divisions of VEDP and external stakeholders.  I like establishing relationships with our partners, learning about the different regions, and providing services to the ones who need it most.  I believe in VEDP’s services because I get to experience firsthand the different ways each division supports and helps build communities around the Commonwealth.
