State and Business Representatives Aim to Build on 1996 Success

Richmond - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership, Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology, and business leaders across the Commonwealth will participate in COMDEX/Fall '97 to be held November 17-21 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The delegation will promote Virginia products and services by cultivating new contacts in domestic and international markets. Respected as one of the world's largest information technology trade shows, COMDEX/Fall '97 attracts more than 220,000 visitors from over 120 countries each year.

This year ten Virginia companies will exhibit in the 2,000-square-foot Virginia Pavilion at COMDEX/Fall '97. The following companies will share a front-row position in the Sands Expo & Convention Center:

The Virginia exhibitors will market an exciting array of computer and Internet products and services. Among the products on display are software for Internet security, data mining, and language training as well as wearable computers.
This is the second year the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology have sponsored a Pavilion at COMDEX/Fall. Corporate supporters include Bell Atlantic-Virginia, Inc., Heidrick & Struggles, James N. Gray Co., and NationsBank.
