
Laura Boone
Vice President, Organizational Development, Virginia Talent Accelerator Program
Laura Boone serves as Vice President of Organization Development at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, leading initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness and talent development both within VEDP and in partnership with Virginia Talent Accelerator Program clients. She oversees strategies that strengthen culture, leadership, and team performance — ranging from employee engagement and career development to executive training and action learning. Her work ensures that VEDP and its Accelerator clients are equipped to attract, retain, and grow high-performing talent across the Commonwealth.
Experience
Prior to joining VEDP, Boone served as an organizational development practice leader at Arthur J. Gallagher, a global firm specializing in insurance, risk management, and consulting services. Laura has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University and has led strategic planning, change management, instructional design, leadership development, and organizational learning initiatives with clients including Owens & Minor, RR Donnelley, and the U.S. Army Cadet Command. She is an ICF-certified Executive Coach and holds multiple certifications in a range of developmental assessments and tools.
