RICHMOND - Governor Timothy M. Kaine today announced that Command Information, the largest pure-play IPv6 company in the United States, will open America’s first IPv6 training center in the town of Herndon in Fairfax County. The project will create 400 new Information Technology networking, design and security jobs. 

Company will invest $1.29 million to establish IT asset disposition center 

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that TES, a global provider of IT lifecycle services, will invest $1.29 million to establish an IT asset disposition center in Spotsylvania County. Virginia successfully competed with Delaware and Maryland for the project, which will create 25 new jobs.

Fugro, the world’s leading geo data specialist, will expand its Americas Center of Expertise for Offshore Wind in the City of Norfolk, creating 15 new jobs.

M.C. Dean, Inc. to invest $25.1 million to expand ModularMEP™ manufacturing and systems integration facility 

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that M.C. Dean, Inc., a leading electrical design-build and systems integration firm for mission-critical organizations, will invest $25.1 million to incorporate a new product line at its fabrication and distribution facility in Caroline County. Virginia successfully competed with several states for the project, which will create 100 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Mark R. Warner today announced that AT&T Wireless will locate an inbound calling center in Russell County. Through a $5.4 million investment, AT&T Wireless will hire more than 300 employees to handle billing, coverage, technical and general support questions for its customers. The project was originally announced in July 2001 by TeleCorp PCS, Inc. AT&T Wireless, which subsequently acquired TeleCorp PCS, Inc., will move forward with the project, increasing the original investment by $850,000.

CareerBuilder investing $2.5 million to establish 20,000-square-foot call center and research facility

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that CareerBuilder, the leading provider of Hello To Hire™ HR technology solutions to global employers and candidates, will invest $2.5 million to establish a 20,000-square-foot call center and research facility in Frederick County, creating 250 new jobs.

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Modine Manufacturing Company (NYSE: MOD), a diversified global leader in thermal management technology and solutions, will invest $7 million to establish a manufacturing facility in Rockbridge County. The company will convert its former warehouse located at 360 Collierstown Road into an operation producing highly engineered data center cooling solutions. Virginia successfully competed with several other states for the project, which will create 60 new jobs after full ramp-up. 

VFP Inc., a producer of custom-designed enclosures used to protect critical infrastructure for telecommunications, public-safety radio, data centers, and utility projects, will invest $7.2 million to expand its operation in Scott County.

Standard Calibrations, Inc. to invest $9.6 million to construct new corporate headquarters

Richmond - Governor Jim Gilmore today announced that ASTROLINK International LLC, a next generation global broadband wireless service company will locate its Network Operations Center (NOC) in the INNOVATION @ Prince William Technology Park. ASTROLINK will invest approximately $205 million in the new center, and could employ as many as 250 people. Virginia successfully competed with several other states for this investment.
