RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Spain-based Atarfil, a world leader in developing, manufacturing, and marketing thermoplastic geomembranes, will invest $5.1 million to establish its first U.S. manufacturing and distribution facility in the City of Suffolk. Virginia successfully competed against Maryland for the project, which will create 15 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced 84 Lumber, the nation’s leading building materials supplier, will invest $3.9 million to establish an operation in Frederick County as part of its manufacturing division, 84 Components. RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that SteelFab, one of the nation’s largest structural steel fabricators, will invest $2.14 million to expand its manufacturing operation in the City of Emporia. The company plans to construct a new building and add machinery and equipment to increase its steel fabrication output. TemperPack will double its employee count within two years and the new employees will be trained to operate the new production machinery through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program.

Owens & Minor’s CEC will occupy approximately 90,000 square feet at Riverfront Plaza. The City of Richmond successfully competed against 60 other cities around the nation to win the project.

The company provides quality millwork, fixtures, décor and graphics to its customers, and offers manufacturing in all materials, including acrylic, glass, laminates, metal, upholstery, veneers, and wood. Virginia successfully competed against Maryland and North Carolina for the project, which will create 150 new jobs.
