RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Aditxt (Aditx Therapeutics, Inc.) (Nasdaq: ADTX), a biotech innovation company focused on improving the health of the immune system, will establish its first high-capacity AditxtScore™ Center in the City of Richmond in the second half of 2021. Aditxt plans to create more than 300 new jobs and targets making a capital investment of $31.5 million over three years to scale up its state-of-the-art immune monitoring center, including projected new jobs, laboratory equipment, and construction.

PETERSBURG—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that AMPAC Fine Chemicals (AFC), a leading manufacturer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in the United States, will invest $25 million to expand its existing operation on North Normandy Drive in the City of Petersburg. Virginia successfully competed with California and Texas for the project, which will create 156 new jobs. Governor Northam joined company leaders, key partners, and local economic development officials at AMPAC’s Petersburg facility to make the announcement.
 

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Guidehouse, a management consulting company serving the public and commercial sectors, will invest $12.7 million to establish a global headquarters operation at Tysons Corner in Fairfax County. The company’s new campus at 1676 International Drive in McLean will accommodate recent growth and an increased demand for services, and will house more than 1,550 employees at full capacity. Virginia successfully competed with Maryland and Washington, D.C. for the project, which will create more than 900 new jobs.

Oran Safety Glass to invest $4.45 million to expand manufacturing operation 

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Breeze Airways, a new U.S.- based airline providing low-cost, nonstop service to mid-size markets, will invest $5.2 million to establish an operations center in the City of Norfolk. The company targets underserved and unserved cities without nonstop service and has identified dozens of route opportunities from Norfolk International Airport. Norfolk will be one of Breeze Airways’ first four operations bases in the United States, and the airline also plans to offer flights out of Richmond International Airport.

Governor Ralph Northam today announced that SunCoke Energy, Inc. (NYSE: SXC), the largest independent producer of high-quality coke for blast furnace steel production in the Americas, will invest $50 million in its manufacturing operation in Buchanan County.

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Stewart Tool Company Inc., a California-based prototype to production manufacturer, will invest $9.1 million to establish its first East Coast manufacturing operation in Fluvanna County. The company will renovate the former Kloeckner Metals facility at 61 Edgecomb Road in Troy. Virginia successfully competed with Maryland and Pennsylvania for the project, which will create 22 new jobs.
 

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that SPARC Research, a provider of program and engineering services in advanced missile and rocket propulsion, will invest $2.5 million to expand its operation in Fauquier County. The company will establish a new 20,000-square-foot office and manufacturing facility on 4.5 acres at 5310 Edmore Court near its current location. With this expansion, SPARC plans to increase its engineering capabilities and establish rocket motor component manufacturing to produce nozzle components, case insulation, and assembly functions.
