RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that SIBO GROUP, a Slovenia-based manufacturer of closure solutions for tubes, containers, and other packaging systems, will invest $2.6 million to establish its U.S. corporate headquarters and a new manufacturing operation in the City of Harrisonburg. Operating as subsidiary SIBO USA, LLC, the new facility will be located at 810 North Main Street and the project will create 24 new jobs. 
 

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Walraven, Inc., a global installation company, will invest $7.15 million to relocate its U.S. headquarters and manufacturing operation from Cadillac, Michigan to Danville-Pittsylvania County. The company will occupy the Cane Creek Shell Building in Cane Creek Centre, a joint industrial park for the City of Danville and Pittsylvania County. Virginia successfully competed with Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee for the project, which will create 46 new jobs.

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that MEP Ltd. (MEP), a manufacturer of complex plastic and metal components for the aerospace and defense sectors, will invest $6.4 million to establish its first U.S. operation in Cyber Park, jointly owned by the City of Danville and Pittsylvania County. The company, which will operate in the U.S. as Making Everything Possible LLC, will occupy approximately 5,500 square feet at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR) while its new facility is constructed.

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Lyon Shipyard, a full-service ship repair and industrial service provider, will invest $24.4 million to expand its operation in the City of Norfolk. The company will add a new marine travel lift and increase the footprint of its waterfront dry dock. Virginia successfully competed with North Carolina for the project, which will create 119 new jobs.
 

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that StarKist Co., a leading seafood and chicken producer in the United States, will invest $3.6 million to relocate its corporate and administrative headquarters operations from Pittsburgh to Fairfax County. The company will occupy approximately 24,000 square feet at 1875 Explorer Street in Reston. Virginia successfully competed with Maryland for the project, which will create 83 new jobs.
