The LEGO Group will invest over $1 billion to construct its U.S. manufacturing plant in Chesterfield County. The company will construct a new 1.7 million-square-foot precision manufacturing facility, creating over 1,760 new jobs.

Hanley Energy, Irish-owned global innovators in Critical Power and Energy Management solutions, will invest $8 million to expand its Hanley Energy Electrical division in Loudoun County.

Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA, one of the largest vertically integrated coffee companies in North America, will invest $29.1 million to consolidate and expand operations at its roasting facility in the City of Suffolk.

RICHMOND - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced the launch of a new resource portal to help Virginia’s defense-related companies go global. The online portal was created through Virginia’s Going Global Defense Initiative (GGDI), the Commonwealth’s only program that secures new revenue streams for Virginia’s defense companies in face of declining U.S. Department of Defense spending, which in turn preserves jobs and replaces declining state tax revenues for Virginia. 

EAB, the leading provider of education research, technology, and marketing and enrollment solutions, will invest at least $6 million and add more than 200 jobs in Henrico County over the next five years.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Kingspan Insulation, LLC, a subsidiary of Ireland-based Kingspan Group PLC, will invest $25 million to upgrade its manufacturing operation in Frederick County. In November 2014 Kingspan acquired Pactiv LLC’s Building Products division, which included the manufacturing plant. The company will invest in plant upgrades and new equipment, creating 15 new jobs.
