Nakano Warehouse & Transportation Corp., a Tokyo-based transportation and warehousing company, will invest $14 million to establish a new warehouse and distribution facility in the City of Chesapeake.

RICHMOND - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced the acceptance of a Stafford County company, Dependable Global Solutions (DGS), into its two-year Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. Launched in January 2002, the program assists exporters in the Commonwealth that have firmly established domestic operations and are committed to international exporting as an expansion strategy. Participating firms are chosen based on their dedication to growing their export sales.

Skip Barber Racing School, the world's largest automotive education and entertainment company offering driving and racing schools, will relocate its headquarters and establish a performance driving school in Halifax County.

SmartRoof, one of the East Coast's leading roofing companies, will invest $350,000 to expand in Fairfax County. The company will relocate from its current location in McLean to 11091 Sunset Hills Road in Reston.
