RICHMOND - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced the acceptance of a Fairfax County company, 22nd Century Technologies Inc., into its two-year Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. Launched in January 2002, the program assists exporters in the Commonwealth that have firmly established domestic operations and are committed to international exporting as an expansion strategy. Participating firms are chosen based on their dedication to growing their export sales.

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. (NYSE: CHD), a major American manufacturer of household products, will invest $27 million to expand in Chesterfield County.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that EURO-COMPOSITES® Group will invest $10.5 million to expand its U.S. operation in Culpeper County. The company manufactures advanced honeycomb composite materials used in aviation, space, industrial, and defense technology applications, and will expand the facility by 51,000 square feet and add new equipment to increase production of composite-based parts associated with the aerospace industry. Virginia successfully competed against Echternach, Luxembourg for the project, which will create 58 new jobs.

Richmond National Group, Inc., a specialty excess and surplus lines insurance company serving select wholesale brokers across the country, will invest $350,000 to expand its headquarters in Henrico County.

Delta Star, Inc., the largest, American-owned medium transformer manufacturer in the United States and the premier manufacturer of mobile transformers in North America, will expand in the City of Lynchburg.
