Richmond - Governor George Allen today announced that Steag MicroTech Inc., and MicroHandling GmbH will locate facilities in Henrico County to service Virginia's semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Steag MicroTech Inc., will create 30 new jobs and invest $.5 million in Henrico's Byrd Center. MicroHandling GmbH will employ 30 people and invest $.5 million in the county's Villa Park III. Both companies are headquartered in Germany.

The $17 million investment by Magnolia's sister company, Parkdale Mills, will create 40 new jobs in Southwest Virginia, and will be Magnolia's second manufacturing operation in Carroll County.
