Rising Tides Solutions, LLC expands corporate headquarters

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Rising Tides Solutions, LLC (RTS Labs), a custom software development company, has made a significant investment to expand its headquarters in Henrico County. The company relocated to its new, 11,000-square-foot office space in September, and an ongoing personnel expansion will create 90 new jobs over the next several years.

Empire Bakery Commissary to invest $10.4 million to expand production in Town of Rocky Mount

ROCKY MOUNT—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Empire Bakery Commissary, LLC, a commercial producer of ready-made cakes, cookies, and single-serve desserts, will invest $10.4 million to expand its facility in the Town of Rocky Mount in Franklin County. Virginia successfully competed against Utah, Texas, Arizona, and Oklahoma for this investment opportunity, which will create 75 new jobs.

Investment aimed at improving productivity and increasing employee training

COVINGTON—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that WestRock Company, a leading provider of differentiated paper and packaging solutions, will invest $248.4 million in its manufacturing operations in the City of Covington and Alleghany County over a five-year period. These investments will be used to purchase new equipment designed to improve productivity at the paper mill and extruding facility, as well as to increase employee training.

Monogram Foods to invest $30 million in fourth manufacturing operation expansion

MARTINSVILLE—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Monogram Food Solutions, LLC, a Memphis-based manufacturer of value-added meats, will invest $30 million to expand its manufacturing operation, Monogram Snacks, in Henry County. The company will expand its product lines to accommodate new and expanding contracts. Virginia successfully competed against six other states for the project, which will create 300 new jobs.
