RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that SANJO Corte Fino, a fineblanking manufacturer based in Barcelona, Spain, will invest $17.5 million to establish its North American headquarters in the City of Virginia Beach. SANJO will supply specialty fineblanking metal components to STIHL Inc, also headquartered in Virginia Beach, as well as to tier-one automotive suppliers. Virginia successfully competed against Kentucky for the project, which will create 85 new jobs.

Rushawna previously served as the Director of Operations for the 21st Surgeon General of the United States, where she provided strategic leadership in operational systems, supported senior leadership, and managed complex projects to ensure efficient office operations.

Five localities across the Commonwealth of Virginia received $1.5 million in Site Remediation Grants from the Virginia Brownfields Restoration and Economic Redevelopment Assistance Fund (VBAF).

Clasen Quality Chocolate, a U.S. manufacturer of chocolate, will invest $230 million to build a new production facility in Frederick County. The project will create 250 new jobs in the county.
