RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Hardywood Park Craft Brewery will invest more than $28 million over the next five years to expand its operations in Goochland County. The company will open a new brewery complex to complement its current facility in Richmond, complete with a 60,000 square foot brewery, packaging and distribution hall, a taproom, an amphitheater, an extensive garden, and equipment to increase production capacity for its award-winning craft beer.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Virginia Poultry Growers Cooperative, Inc. will invest almost $62 million over the next three years to construct a new 80,000 square foot turkey processing facility in Hinton. The expansion will be supported by additional investment in the company’s feed mill in Broadway and its grain elevator in Linville. The Cooperative, which consists of 165 member-growers, will create six new jobs and increase production by more than forty-five percent. Virginia successfully competed against Pennsylvania for the project.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Continental, a leading international automotive supplier, intends to invest approximately $49 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Culpeper County, part of the company’s Chassis and Safety Division. This planned investment is part of a three-phase project to modernize and retool the facility, resulting in increased production capacity, and the manufacturing of an innovative, new type of braking system.
