Chemres to expand resin production operation, create 16 new jobs 

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Chemres, a global supplier of commodity and engineering resins, will invest $3 million to expand its resin production operation in the City of Chesapeake. The company will purchase additional machinery and equipment. Virginia successfully competed against Florida for the project, which will create 16 new jobs.

Humm Kombucha to invest $9.4 million to establish brewing operation

ROANOKE - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Humm Kombucha, an Oregon-based producer of kombucha, a carbonated black or green tea that contains fermented bacteria and yeast, will invest $10 million to establish a brewing operation in the City of Roanoke. The project will create approximately 50 new jobs.

Altec Industries to invest $30.2 million to expand manufacturing operation 

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Altec Industries, a leading provider of products and services to the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, lights and signs, and contractor markets, will invest $30.2 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Botetourt County. Virginia successfully competed against several states for this project, which will create 180 new jobs in the Commonwealth.

Virginia successfully competed against Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin for the project, which will create 22 new jobs.
