RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that A-T Solutions Inc., a global industry-leading anti-and counterterrorism professional services firm, will invest $1 million to expand its operations in Spotsylvania County. The company’s clients include the departments of Defense, State and Justice; the Department of Homeland Security; the intelligence community; state and local law enforcement; and international clients.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that Home Care Industries, Inc., one of North America’s leading floor care companies, will invest $1.5 million to open a manufacturing and distribution operation in Mecklenburg County. The project will create 150 new jobs. Virginia successfully competed against North Carolina, Mississippi and South Carolina for the project.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that InMotion Hosting, Inc., a provider of Web-hosting solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, will invest $250,000 to expand its operations in Virginia Beach. The project will create up to 275 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell today announced that The Tile Shop, a provider of the finest natural stone, ceramic and porcelain tiles and tiling materials, will invest $1.1 million to open a warehouse distribution operation in Henry County. The project will create 25 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that The Hornschuch Group, a leading producer and marketer of highly technical films, will invest $28.3 million to expand its O’Sullivan Films operation in Winchester. The Hornschuch Group acquired O’Sullivan Films in March 2010. The project will create 174 new jobs in the Winchester area.

Governor McDonnell met with officials at The Hornschuch Group in Germany during his European Marketing Trip in July.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that Microsoft Corp. will invest up to $499 million to locate their latest generation data center (Gen4) in Mecklenburg County, in what will be the largest economic investment in Southern Virginia history. Using modular technology and advanced cooling mechanics, the center will be Microsoft’s most advanced data center. The project will create 50 new jobs and Virginia successfully competed against North Carolina and Texas to secure this sought after facility.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell today announced that Trinity Packaging Corporation will make a multi-million dollar investment to expand capacity at its operation in the town of Rocky Mount in Franklin County. The project will create 25 new jobs and save 75 jobs. Virginia successfully competed against North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Utah and Wisconsin for the project.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell today announced that McKesson Corporation, a leading healthcare services and information technology company, will invest about $50 million to establish distribution operations in Caroline County. The project will create approximately 150 new jobs. The company will distribute pharmaceuticals and health care products to independent retail, national retail accounts and institutional accounts. Virginia successfully competed against Maryland and Pennsylvania for the project.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell today announced that DuPont will invest $20 million to establish a facility in Chesterfield County to make the first nanofiber-based polymeric separators for high-performance lithium ion batteries for electric vehicles and many other potential commercial uses.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that Kimball Hospitality, Inc., a subsidiary of Kimball International, Inc. will invest $1 million to open a hospitality furniture manufacturing plant in Henry County. The project will create 67 new jobs. Virginia successfully competed against Indiana and North Carolina for the project.
